Story
Taliesin ward is a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) where patients who are living with mental health problems who require high levels of care are admitted. The ward offers a safe, low stimulus environment to give our patients the environment they need at times of distress to move on and live fulfilled lives.
Due to covid restrictions the opportunity to carry out meaningful activities with patients has been restricted - therefore as a team we would like to raise money so we can carry on going above and beyond for our patients by offering meaningful ward based activities.
During the current pandemic the importance of mental health has been highlighted like never before. Our patients climb mountains every day in their minds and so we as staff feel it is only right we climb the largest mountain in Wales for them!
We hope you can help in any way you can and are very grateful for your donations.
