Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As it is eating disorder awareness week, we wanted to help raise money and support a charity that is very close to our hearts. To do this, we aim to run 300km between us during the month of March. We will record our progress and make updates weekly.

We were introduced to each during a very difficult period of our lives when we were both admitted to the same inpatient unit, very far away from where we lived. Despite it being one of the most challenging experiences we have been through, it saved our lives and enabled us to form such a strong friendship.

Thousands of other people go through similar experiences and struggle to get through each day. This is why we wanted to share our story to make people realise they aren't alone, and to shed hope that recovery is possible. This is our way to give something back and provide support for such an amazing charity.

This challenge is dedicated to all our friends we have lost along the way, our thoughts are always with you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
