This July I shall be departing on a 2 year and 20,000km expedition through Africa, cycling from the UK to Cape Town.
Throughout the trip, I shall be undertaking a series of photographic projects documenting the lives of some of the people I meet along the way, which will be published online at
Take On Africa.
Why not check out the website for further information on the trip and you can sign-up for regular updates too.
I am raising money for the
Welbodi Partnership - an organisation supporting the provision of paediatric care in Sierra Leone, where child health statistics are the worst in the world.
This is a relatively new charity that a friend of mine has set up following his medical elective at Freetown's only paediatric hospital. They are already making great progress and your donations will really go a long way to helping meet their objectives. Every donation, however big or small, makes a difference - in fact, just £5 will provide a whole month's care package for a child.
Please note that this is a self-funded trip and all money raised goes directly to the Welbodi Partnership
For further details of the journey and regular updates, see my website
Take On Africa.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Welbodi Partnership gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
