Frank Rose loved to hike and loved to uplift people in heart and mind. He mastered the art of living in the present, even to the end when challenged with his dying physical body and having to say an earthly goodbye to the ones he loves so much. But his spirit lives on! I can hear his voice and see his arms spread wide, a smile of delight on his face, ready to embrace and bring comfort. He championed the Joy of spiritual growth and embodied it, honestly and humbly. And he found refuge on the Mountain. He lived a creative life and knew the value of wonder and awe that spontaneously arises when we open ourselves to the presence of the divine in the natural world. Whether in a grand vista or in the bewildering beauty of wildflower, God can be found, and with the sense of that presence comes peace.

Frank devoted his life to sharing the transformative spiritual truths of the New Church—a living truth! He loved to witness the phenomenon of the new abundant access to and interest in Swedenborg's works through Off The Left Eye and the New Century Edition Translation project. So we honor his memory and legacy by supporting the Swedenborg Foundation, to enable it to continue to serve its mission of getting the ideas in Swedenborg's works out there.
