Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be amongst those taking the plunge this year, to (hopefully!) complete the 3-day 80km walk from Najaf to Imam Husain's burial place (AS) in Karbala.

This has been something I've been waiting to do for a year now, so I'm really looking forward to it!

I'm raising money for a charity called 'The World Federation Community Upliftment Project' which is all about providing the less fortunate in Northeast Kenya a viable long-term path out out of poverty.

This will include providing clean water and sanitation, investing in irrigation systems and farming techniques and giving basic educational necessities for children to learn.  Such projects will impact on the lives of thousands of individuals, not just in those communities identified, but also far beyond.

Any donation, however small will be appreciated, as it will help me reach my target!
