Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Past

As many of you are aware that 2010 floods left many with no shelter or food.  They have lost everything, their houses and all the household stuff.  They have received the aid from around the globe but it was not enough becuase the scale of damage was very high.  The water stayed there for number of weeks as  result of that people's houses were destroyed and they didn't have money to rebuild the houses.

MWF built about 1500+ houses for the homless people.  As a result of flood there were many children who became orphan.  Many charity organisations put short term solutions in place but there was great need for long term solution

The Founding leader of Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri announced a projected called "AGHOSH" meaning Mother's Lap or Lap.

Aghosh - Orphan Care Home

MWF has set out to differ from other welfare organisations and to ensure that aid or assistance is not just limited to a day or week but to be an ever lasting process until the individuals are considered to be honourable members of society.

With this hope, MWF wants to bring about change to the welfare of many orphans who face daily neglect, cruel exploitation, and whose rights are being usurped by heartless oppressors.

There were many Orphan Care Homes in the country but the idea behind Aghosh was to provide Education, Food and Shelter to the Orphan Children.  In order to provide aforementioned facilities, a complex was built in Lahore, Pakistan.  I am very grateful to many of you who supported me in the past and gave donations for the Aghosh building.

Present

Now Aghosh building is ready and have Orphans in the building.   In order to provide care, food and education to these children MWF needs your support.

We are very lucky who have all the facilities but those children need our support and I am sure you will help me to raise £1800 to sponsor 5 children.

Future

The children in Aghosh will be provided Education up to degree level and then they will be helped to get a job.  When they will full time job and well setteled they will sponsor an orphon child

Here I am, I will be cycling, Walking and Jogging 5 KMs for 50 days to raise £1800 throughout my life.  I am asking everyone to support me to raise funds to sponsor 5 children.

I work in Education Sector myself and I know the importance of Education.  No human beings are able to survive properly without education. By the means of education only one’s potential can be used to maximum extent. Education tells men how to think, how to work properly, how to make decision. Through education only one can make separate identity. It is most important in life like our basic need foods, clothe and shelter. With the beginning we learnt how to interact with others, how to make friends because of education only.

These days Education is very expensive and unaffordable.  These orphan children who are already struggling for basic necessities, how they can think about education?  It's our duty to help them with their besic necessities of life as well as Education.

So please dig deep and donate now.
