30 Mile Run for WaSH Project · 24 April 2021

Join our 2021 run supporting hand washing facilities in Dar es Salaam and water contamination solutions for informal wells. The challenge is running 30 miles in 30 days, with a suggested joining or sponsoring donation of £3 (the price of a coffee!).

Story

I am fundraising for handwashing facilities in primary schools in Dar es Salaam, and interventions to improve water quality in the informal wells of the Vingunguti settlement. I will be running 30 miles (in one day rather than the recommended 30 days) towards this cause, so please consider donating!

I was lucky enough to work with the Tanzanian student leaders and engineers who built the first iteration of these facilities, and with the UK-Tanzanian team planning the Last 100m initiative, so I can say for certain that this money goes a long way to doing a lot of good!
