Story
I am honoured to be cycling leg 5 of this year's relay. Having watched this iconic challenge on TV for years, and to be now doing it myself is amazing. Like I said I am cycling leg 5 meaning that there are 4 more before I ride, these 4 legs are being completed by an inspirational group of young people: Alex, Kai, Quin and Sanna. Please do read the website about their stories.
Personally, I will be cycling for all of the amazing projects funded by CiN, but specifically PASIC (parents association for seriously ill children). The work of this project helped myself and my family through one of the hardest times of our lives only just 2 years ago. I feel so so grateful to be able to have the opportunity to give back to this amazing charity and to prove that illness doesn't have to dictate what you can and can't do, that is why I hope children that are in the position I was in a couple of years ago can be inspired and keep on going.
This year, we want you to get on your bike and Pedal for Pudsey. We want you to get sponsored and get turning those wheels, whether you're riding around your favourite spot or cycling to work, you could be on the open road or in your living room, you can help raise money that will make a life changing difference to children right across the UK. We've got everything you need to take on your own challenge, inspired by the Rickshaw Relay. Join in and together, we can change young lives.
