Story
10 years ago I was diagnosed with a cavernoma in my right front temporal lobe. I suffered three significant brain haemorrhages/strokes and many months of difficulty before I successfully underwent an awake craniotomy to remove my cavernoma. I am one of the lucky few.
To celebrate my life and say thank you for the amazing 10 years I have enjoyed since, I am running the original marathon to fundraise for those less fortunate. I would be incredibly grateful for your support.
Thank you for visiting this page, for supporting me now and for supporting me over the past 10 years.
(ps. sorry to anyone squeamish about the picture on this page - I was quite happy on all the drugs at that point!)
