Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our T1Ambush JustGiving page.
Chris, Adam, Rob and Rich are competing in their first CrossFit competition as a team at the Battle Cancer Charity event in London Olympia on the 16th October.
They will be competing as a team called:
‘T1 AMBUSH’
With a combined age of roughly 170 years old, they are sure there will be fitter, stronger (and more toned) athletes running, jumping and lifting along-side them, however with age comes experience so they’re training very hard and hoping to pull out a surprise or two on the day. In addition: Chris has said and I quote ‘I refuse to be bested by a bunch of super-fit whipper-snappers’.
Cancer, in its many forms, can cast a shadow over the lives of many both young and old; so they have chosen to sweat themselves into oblivion for Breast Cancer Now. Breast Cancer Now provides life-changing support for today and hope for the future for everyone affected by secondary breast cancer.
The scientists in Breast Cancer Now are working flat out to plug the critical gaps in knowledge on secondary breast cancer; from finding ways to stop breast cancer spreading to finding more effective ways to treat it. They appreciate that times are harder these days on the financial front for many people. It’s important to note that there is absolutely no pressure to make a donation, however if you are in a position to; T1 Ambush promise to force out just a few more pull-ups and burpees to get them across the competition finish line.
