Story
I’m very proud to say my son (8 years old) has taken up the noble art of boxing, although still in his early stages of training and being the youngest and smallest in his Gym he attends the training and although feeling anxious and a little nervous he demonstrates great courage. The day of a match will be fast approaching and I will find it difficult to just say to him “go on, it will be ok”. So I have decided to throw my hat into the ring and lead by example, I’d like to show to him the journey and hard work required to attempt to reach a goal! How to face the fears and trials and how to be humble in victory or gracious in defeat. The lesson that an outcome is never assured, all we can do is put in the work, train hard and face the challenge.
