Fundraising for Cruse Bereavement Support
I’ve been involved with Cruse for almost four years as a Bereavement Volunteer. I’ve listened to many clients over the years & helped to support them in what can only be described as the most emotionally traumatic times of their lives. Their courage is second to none & inspired me to face one of my own fears by taking part in this challenge. (The last time I was seen abseiling was whilst being strapped to a Frenchman descending 100 feet into a champagne cellar - not quite the same!).
To give you some insight to what we at Cruse offer please read on.
In the meantime, any donation would be truly, gratefully received & will not only help our amazing team but ensure I’m accountable to fly down St Mary Magdalen’s tower, eyes wide shut & in pure fear. 😂
💛 💜 Thank you 🙏🏼
The death of someone close can be shattering. Everyone experiences grief differently; there is no normal or right way to grieve. How we react will be influenced by many different things, including our age and personality, our cultural background and religious beliefs, or our previous experiences of bereavement. Most people will cope with help from family and friends, but for those who need additional support or specialist help, Cruse offers free confidential support.Cruse Surrey North provides advice, information and support to anyone who has been bereaved (children, young people and adults), whenever or however the death occurred. The service is provided by trained, experienced volunteers and is confidential and free.
* Charities pay a small fee for our service. Find out how much it is and what we do for it.
