Head for new heights in the second event of the Virtual Hike World Series: Everest Summit. The challenge... to walk 41 miles from Lukla to the top of the tallest mountain on earth from, or near to, your own home throughout February
Story
I'm attempting to hike 41 miles from Lukla, Nepal to the summit of Mount Everest... virtually between 1st - 28th February!
You can follow my progress via this interactive map here: https://www.pilgrimshospices.org/event/virtual-hike-everest/
While for many of us doing our part during the current health crisis means reducing our travel, Pilgrims Hospices nurses and support staff are Still Here; Still Caring and are continuing to provide skilled and compassionate end-of-life care for people living with life-limiting illness across east Kent.
By sponsoring my challenge, you'll truly be making a difference to the lives of people living with a life-limiting illness and their families.
Thank you.

Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent.
For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.
