Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In September 2012, two of our colleagues were murdered in Manchester following a hoax call luring the officers to an address.  PC Nicola Hughes was one of those officers, this charity has been set up in her name and provides opportunities for children affected by violent crimes.  One of these children lives in South Yorkshire, he saw his father murder his mother and sister.  He receives support from the charity in the form of fully funded karate lessons for the next four years, an activity that helps him move forward with his life.

Run to Remember is an event where officers, support staff, friends and family come together both nationally and internationally to raise funds and awareness for this great cause.  We will be running, walking, limping or crawling 200 miles in 100 days, with a commitment to raising £1 each per day.  Your support is truly appreciated and every penny goes to help the charity - don't forget to tick gift aid!  Thank you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
