Story
Post Marathon Update: We both completed the Brighton Marathon!
Robert achieved an AMAZING time of 3:12:56!
Sylvia achieved 4:39:55!
It was a brilliant day. Today (the day after), we are both sunburnt, Robert has a swollen ankle and Sylvia can barely walk, but we are both so pleased we finished!
Thank you again for all those who have, or may still, sponsor us xx
Pre-Marathon
On April 10th 2011 we will both be running the Brighton Marathon! We are currently in training and are very nervous but also excited for the big day!
Whilst it is something we have both always wanted to do, we will also be using it as a means to raise money for a good cause. Hope For Children is our dedicated charity and we aim to raise a minimum of £1000!
HOPE's aims and objectives are to help disabled, orphaned, poor and exploited children, in particular those living in developing countries. This is achieved through providing and advancing children’s rights to basic necessities, including education and health care, aimed at sustaining their long term development.
