Story
In memory of our dear friend Sylver, Sylver's Girls are asking for your support.
On the 17th June 2011 at midnight Denise, Hannah, Amanda, and Amy are challenging themselves to walk 13 miles to raise money for the Martlets Hospice. Usually known for stumbling through the streets of Brighton at midnight this will be a real test of strength for them all. Martlets were wonderful in helping our dear friend during a difficult time so please support us in this midnight challenge and sponsor us individually or as a team. More details on our challenge and how to donate are below. Ladies if you would like to join our team please contact Denise for more details.
What is our challenge?
The Martlets Midnight Walk is a 13 mile sponsored walk through the streets of Brighton & Hove, starting at midnight. The walk raises funds for the Martlets Hospice, who help people affected by terminal illness living in and around Brighton & Hove. All their services are provided free of charge and they need to raise over £9,000 a day to care for patients and their families.
Sylver's girls have joined together to raise money for this extraordinary charity. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
So please dig deep and donate now.
