Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We've been long time supporters of The Eve Appeal and the amazing work they do raising awareness and supporting research into the five gynae cancers, so signing up to this mega trek in the Cotswolds was a no brainer.

Nicky is no stranger to charity events like this, having completed a half marathon last year and some 10k runs, and Nicola almost signed up to the trek last year (but was interrupted by the small matter of a pregnancy!), so both are thrilled to be taking part this year.

Every day in the UK 58 women are diagnosed with a gynae cancer, and sadly 21 of those women will die. Treatment for these cancers can be long and difficult with many side effects, and all of us in the Sylk Team are committed to supporting women through this difficult time, and to helping the Eve Appeal put a stop to these cancers once and for all. So please help us to help them, and give what you can to support this wonderful charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
