Sykes and Sim run Cheltenham Half Marathon!
Fundraising for Sue Ryder
Fundraising for Sue Ryder
We’re dusting off our PE kits and hitting the mean streets of Cheltenham and Bristol to train for the Cheltenham half marathon on 4 September! This is in memory of Sam’s brilliant, brave husband and Nicky’s friend Ben Sykes, who received incredible care from Sue Ryder hospice in the final weeks of his life.
Sue Ryder made life bearable for the Sykes family in the hardest circumstances – and our mission is to support them as they help other families facing the unimaginable. We are so grateful for your donations – funds are needed more than ever in these tough times.
To put into perspective how valuable your donations are,
here's some running costs for the hospice. Please use these as your motives behind a donation as every penny really does count.
* £19 pays for one hour hospice care
*£140 pays for the cost of a nurse for a day
* £150 pays for a working bag with all the kit in for a Hospice at home nurse
*£500 pays for a bed for a day of inpatient care
* £1000 could pay for a hospice nurse for a week
So dig deep if you can and thank you SO much for your support.
