Story
As most of you know Cara was constantly in the pool but just over a year ago she decided to take a break from it . Recently she has realised just how much she is missing it . So has decided to give herself a challenge of 10 miles in March ( 664 lengths) maybe more , and wanted to raise awareness and support to a charity at the the same time . Dementia is close to her heart as grandad had this alongside his Parkinson’s, and saw first hand how hard it was for grandad but also how tough it was on Nanny.
So she is making a splash and taking on Swim for Dementia. 900,000 people are currently living with dementia across the UK. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society is here for everyone affected. Wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Your donations will keep me going so please hit the Give Now button and donate what you can to help beat dementia. Thank you!
