The past year has been tough for everyone but coronavirus has hit people affected by dementia the hardest and continues to disrupt lives.  I dread to think how many were abandoned in care homes in March 2020 and never saw their families again.  So that's one of the reasons why I'm making a splash and taking on Swim for Dementia.  It's also an illness that affected my family.  My uncle Barry passed away after a battle with early onset vascular dementia.  I wish we had been closer.  Please donate to support me and ensure Alzheimer's Society can be there for the people who need them most.
