Story
I'm Jamie and I'm 8 years old (9 in September). I'm taking part in a sponsored swim at Ennerdale Leisure Centre in Hull on 14th Oct to raise money for Jake's Fund (through Tree of Hope).
Jake is my big brother, he was born on 10th June 2007 with Cerebral Palsy and learning difficulties. Jake's Fund is raising money for Jake's therapy and equipment to help him become more independent which means we will be able to do more fun things together.
The swim will be a team effort and together we aim to swim a distance of 22km (880 lengths) which is the length of the River Hull. My target is to swim 2 full lengths, I haven't swum a full length before (only widths) so this will be a real challenge for me and I want to do it for Jake as he faces challenges every single day.
You can read more about Jake on his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Jakesfund10/
Thank you for reading and helping me to support my big brother :-)
