Story
This is for the local charity –
Cheshire based, Children’s Adventure Farm Trust in regards to the below much needed project;
“The Animal Barn is an exciting new project which will see CAFT replacing their unsightly, dilapidated polytunnel with a new small wooden barn which will make a huge difference in so many
ways. Currently the charity struggles with shelter around their animal areas, meaning that in poor weather they find it difficult to give the children an opportunity to spend time with their many interesting animals – including alpacas, goats, sheep and donkeys.
This new agricultural building will provide the perfect area for ill, disabled and socially disadvantaged children to feed, pet and experience important therapy time with the charity’s animals – a vital part of any visit to CAFT. The Barn will also provide a warm,protected space – a ‘nursery’ - for young animals and small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs who need a little extra warmth during the colder months. Replacing the old polytunnel with this new barn will be much more in-keeping with the charity’s beautiful, natural surroundings, and will help them to continue to provide once in a lifetime experiences for children with additional needs from our region”.
