Story

Righty, no going back now.

After spending far too many evenings throughout the summer thrashing through Salford Quays in an ill-fitting wet-suit, I'll be doing the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final on Saturday 14 September in Hyde Park, London.

The finest triathletes in the world, including those wild-and-crazy Brownlee brothers, will be competing across the weekend, on the Olympic course from last year. Fortunately, they also let idiots like me have a go.

Anyways, the challenge is the same for all of us: 1500m (1 mile) swim (help me), 24 mile bike, 10K run. Then peel off the wetsuit and off for a pint.

Any donation for Marie Curie would be greatly appreciated. Ta!
