Story
Swansea & District Cats Protection are raising money to help look after the rescue cats and kittens of Swansea & District
We often have a number of orphan kittens that are being hand reared by volunteers and need bottles, formula milk, veterinary care, heat pads, bedding and food.
Even the little kittens that have a mother cat need to be looked after in a foster home that requires litter, food, bedding, worming and flea treatment.
As well as the kittens we often have adult cats that come into our care and require treatment. For example - Jemima was recently taken into our care and was found to be hyper-thyroid. She didn't respond to tablets which can often help the condition but luckily was found to be a candidate for an operation which although was very costly gave her a new lease of life.
The Swansea Cats Protection team are volunteers and most of us have full time 'proper' jobs. That means that every last penny we raise goes straight to the care of our very deserving cats and kittens in the area.
