Edinburgh Marathon Festival Full Marathon 2018 · 27 May 2018 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

In December our beautiful and inspiring friend Grace Keeping was dealt a hammer blow when she discovered she was living with Cancer. Since then she has been inspiring us all with her bravery and strength in showing cancer who's boss.

Her fight has inspired her friends to raise money in order to help the charity that has shown her support, and we want to help this effort by putting ourselves through 26.2 miles of running misery. Over the next 4 months, we will be running at least 4 times a week, building up the miles until we run on the streets of Edinburgh in an arduous challenge of strength and stamina (both of which are currently lacking in us).

Grace and her family are facing the biggest challenge of their lives as are hundreds of young people every day. We will run every inch of that road for them; because if they can endure the challenge of fighting cancer then we can endure the challenge of fighting the pain of a marathon.

We have already paid for our places, so all money raised will go directly towards the charity and not the race itself. So please give what you can to support an amazing charity which is helping our amazing friend.

Thank you for your support.
