Story

'6@ No.2'

From 26 April 2020, I am taking part in the 2.6 challenge to help save UK charities and raising vital funds for Crohn's & Colitis UK.

On several dates (weather permitting - see updates), I hope to exhibit six (changing) original paintings in my front driveway for passersby to enjoy (at a social distance) whilst out on their daily exercise, and, if they wish, they can make a donation to support Crohn's & Colitis UK.

A close member of my family has suffered badly with the disease and Crohn's & Colitis UK have been there for all of us when we needed help.

Crohn’s and Colitis UK is the leading charity for Crohn's & Colitis sufferers. Right now, over 300,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. And the real number could be almost double that. Because of the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding these diseases, thousands of people are suffering in silence. But they’re not alone. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment, and to fund research into a cure; to raise awareness and to give people hope, comfort and confidence to live freer, fuller lives.
