Story

OK, so this may strike you as a bit of a surprise, but yes, I’ve joined a tap dancing team…..now that you’ve recovered from the shock, please read on.

A very special group of people, who are extremely important to our family, SOS Presents, are performing in the show Crazy for You at the end of June.  Both Mike and I are in the cast and what you may not know is that there is a pretty long tap dancing number in the show which I will be taking part in.  Consequently, one of our fabulous cast came up with a slightly mad suggestion:

In this challenge, a team of SOS Presents performers will each be tap dancing for 10 minutes per day  (average) throughout May.

Please spur us on as we rack up our tap dancing minutes by donating to a cause dear to our hearts: research into all forms of childhood cancer.

Donations go to Ben Pavitt's Legacy of Love Fund, a Special Named Fund of CCLG set up in October 2021 in memory of my son Ben.  I can almost hear him chuckling at the thought of me doing this, but if we can raise funds and awareness so that in future no family affected by childhood cancer should go through the pain of loss as we have, the pain in my poor old knees will be very much worth it.

Please dig deep, you may never have the chance to see me tap again…..thank you x
