Nearing our Target
Suzie Brodie and Dave Clark are walking the West Highland Way 23rd - 27th July 2012
We want to do something for charity whilst doing something we both enjoy - Walking. Many of you will have seen us treading the tarmac nearly everyday recently. (We both have had to replace our trainers!) So its time to do it for a good cause.
I am walking the 96 miles in memory of my Auntie Kathleen who sadly passed away in July 2005 after suffering with MS for 29 years. She was very special to us as a family but was also well loved by anyone who's life she touched. She had a fabulous personality, she never complained about her own illness and I am sure anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Kathleen will certainly agree with me when I say she was a true inspiration to us all. Kathleen strongly supported the work of the MS Society during her life and I have always wanted to give something back in her memory.
Dave is walking for friends past and present that are affected by MS. As one of my close friends and daily walking buddy, who better can I share this experience with. I am sure he will push me on with his usual humour.
The MS Society relies on voluntary income to provide vital services to those affected by multiple sclerosis. Both nationally and locally, through their branch network, the MS Society is constantly striving to improve the lives of people with MS and their friends and family.
Any contribution how big or small will be really appreciated so please help the work of the MS Society by sponsoring us to do the West Highland Way (96 miles Milngavie - Fort William)
