Story
To raise vital funds for Open Arms Malawi, Claire and Suzie will be taking on the Tough Mudder Yorkshire on 30th July 2023, a gruelling, muddy 10km obstacle course! From electroshock therapy to arctic enema, these are not your ordinary obstacles!! We'll be taking on 20 of the toughest, muddiest and challenging obstacles - check out the pictures.
By our own admission, we are not athletes or runners. Neither of us have done anything like this before, so it's a pretty big challenge for both of us!
We both work at Open Arms Malawi and see some of our incredible supporters do amazing things to raise funds for vulnerable children in Malawi, now it's our turn to do our bit. No child asks to be orphaned or abandoned, and whilst we can't change everything in Malawi, together we can make a difference.
By supporting Open Arms you are providing medical attention, shelter, food and love to some of Malawi’s most vulnerable children.
Open Arms aims to return of fit and healthy toddlers back to their extended families, providing them with continued support through the Community Outreach Programme. So the children have the chance to grow up in the love of a family home. Open Arms also supports over 600 children in their nine nursery schools in rural communities, providing them with a free early years education and a daily nutritious meal.
Thank you for supporting us in this crazy challenge. It means SO much. Thank you.
