Story

Hello everybody !!!

Thats the event done - I'm not going to say it was easy - cos it wasnt !!! But made it round in one piece - took about 5 and a half hours to do.

Arran is a lovely place.  If you ever get a chance its definately worth a visit - some lovely wee places on the way round but unfortunately didnt take the chance to stop on the way round. (And like a complete doughball forgot to lift my camera !!!!).  Got a couple of photos of Brodick Bay on Sunday though.

The morning was the hardest part of the cycle with some very steep hills and the wind was strong at bits as well !!!  And there was a heavy downpour of rain that I couldnt see through so had to stop until it subsided.  The west side of the Island was a little flatter and the sun started to make an appearance in the afternoon so it made the ride a little easier.

The Bjorn Again concert on Saturday night was brilliant too - found another few folk with glittery wigs (none with feather boas tho !!!) hehe.

All in all a very successful weekend and I cant say thank you enough for all the fantastic donations !!

I will find out from the Charity how much was raised in total for the days events and will let you all know.

Thank you, thank you, thank you !!!!
