On April 23^rd 2023 I will be running the London Marathon for a second time to raise money for the Calvert Trust. This wonderful charity allows disabled children and adults to reach their potential through the challenge of outdoor adventure.

As many people know we have an autistic son Hayden who is 10 years old. When we were given the opportunity to attend the Calvert Trust in the Lake District as a family for four nights in 2021 we jumped at the chance but never imagined the long lasting effect it would have.

In just four days Hayden achieved so much and to see him develop his confidence and be himself in an environment without judgement was wonderful to see. He was so proud of himself when he completed a zip line and lit his own campfire to toast marshmallows! Our daughter Erin also had a fabulous week making friends with children who understood the ups and downs that come with having an autistic sibling.

I am so grateful to be given this opportunity to give back to the Calvert Trust and help them to support more people with disabilities to challenge themselves in the great outdoors.
