Myself and Claire both have dads who unfortunately have prostate cancer.  My dad has had this for several years and has been trialling new medication during this period and has had positive results but as I stated this was a trial of medication/treatment and recently we have had news that possibly the treatment he has received is now not effective as it was in the beginning and therefore he will need to consider new treatment.  

Claire’s Dad has more recently been diagnosed and is also undergoing treatment and responding well.  It’s through charities like Prostate Cymru which enable funding to become available to support families and victims all over Wales who have been affected by this silent but nevertheless life threatening condition. 

It’s only thanks to your generosity that research, support and funding can be made available so the good works continues and gives not just mine and Claire’s Dad a chance but all other dads, husbands, grandads, brothers, uncles and cousins a chance .
