Help Marie Curie Nurses care for more terminally ill people and their families.
Davina McCormick and I are taking part in Scrabo Tower Abseil to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Davina is an 18 year old from our village who, before he took ill,Tony was going to help run the Belfast Marathon. She suggested to me that we should do the Abseil off Scrabo Tower, and although I am a little scared I am also very excited about it.
As most of you all know Tony lost his battle with cancer on 13 December 2012 and my father lost his battle on 12 February 2010. The only two men that I have loved have both been taken by this terrible disease and I have had first hand experience of the fantastic work that the Nurses from Marie Curie do.
Please sponsor us and help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to more people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes or in one of their hospices across the UK.
£20 provides 1 hour of Marie Curie nursing care, but whatever you can give will help terminally ill people and their families when they need it most.
Thank you for your support.
