My beloved Tony was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer in February 2012, at that time he was given 6 months at the most.  He fought bravely and passed away very peacefully on 13 December 2012, defying all the odds and lasting 10 months.  

With the love and support of Marie Curie Nurses I was able to bring Tony home and nurse him until the end here in our home where he spent happy days making special memories with those who loved him. 

Unfortunately I have now witnessed the wonderful work these nurses do twice, as they also made my father's last days very comfortable 4 years ago at their Belfast Hospice.
