Story
On the 30th August 2013, my husband Jamie suddenly pass away from an undiagnoised heart condition in the arms of myself and with his little boy by his side. Jamie didnt know he was ill, he never exhibited any signs other than tiredness, being a hardworking 44yr old who wouldn't be tired. There was no warning nothing he was laughing and joking with us one minute and gone the next. Although quite painless for Jamie, It wasn't his time he had so more more to do and say. So much more laughter and love! and I want to raise funds for the British heart foundation to help eradicate this awful disease forever.
I met Jamie 17 years ago on the car park of Wigan Pier, he was my cousins best friend and it was love at first sight. His cheeky eyes and his cheeky smile made him impossible to forget, we drove each other insane and loved each other fiercely, Its true you do get a sole mate Jamie was and still is mine.
Jamie and I married on the 20th July 2002, you couldn't find a prouder husband and wife than Jamie and I. Our life was made complete by our 3 children Rianne, Rebecca and Benjamin. If there was one thing that Jamie did better in life than having fun it was being a dad. He loved his girls and lad with the whole of his heart and more.
Anyone who knew Jamie, knew just how much the phrase larger than life meant and In his death I want to continue my larger than life husbands legacy by making our family proud one way I can do this is to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. We hope that the money can go towards a future were we all live without this terrible disease. Just 50p or a £1 or whatever you can afford to give would make all the difference. Thank-you.
