Those of you who know me well, know that I am not a runner!  But when my lovely friend and trainer Nel told me about the event, in memory of her mum, Nancy who she sadly lost to leukaemia last year, I knew that I wanted to be involved.  Cancer seems to be affecting more and more people, young and old.  If it hasn't touched your life yet, it might do one day.

I don't mean for that to depress anyone but this is a chance for us all to do something to help all the amazing men and women who commit their lives to finding a cure for cancer.

So all I ask is to please give as much as you can to help Cancer Research and I'll do my bit by training and attempting to run a Half Marathon in October.  It'll be interesting if nothing else!!!!
