My beautiful mum died from exacerbation of her illness, IPF. It is a little known disease with no cure that has a life expectancy averaging 3 years from diagnosis. Unfortunately my mum had 3 months. 

My mum told me years ago that she had always wanted that best friend bond that some mothers and daughters have with her own mother. I believe that we had achieved that for ourselves in the last few years of her life. I wish I could have done more for her at the end. The only thing I can do now is fund raise in her memory, mainly by running. Any donations greatly appreciated. xxx
