Story

You may or may not know but we lost my Dad, Ewan & Abbie's Grandad, Jim Watson to Alzheimer's in Dec 2021. The three of us wanted to take on something in memory of him but also to raise money towards helping to cure this absolutely heartbreaking disease.

Having taken on one of these marathon treks before I know this is going to hurt! Not sure what will hurt the most this time - the blisters or keeping up with the kids!!

Most of us these days have been affected by Alzheimer's in one way or another, either directly or from knowing someone going through it. From a personal point of view one of the scariest things in my life is the worry that myself or another member of my family will get dragged into the clutches of Alzheimer's. That's why we want to try and raise as much money as we can to help towards funding both prevention and cure. We'll take on the trek, all we ask is, if you can you'll pledge a little cash to help us on our way. It really, truly is for the most amazing cause. Thank you Suzanne, Ewan and Abbie xxx
