Story
On Saturday 21st August 2021, our family's life changed forever when our son Andrew had his first epileptic seizure. He already has a number of complex needs, however the start of his epilepsy was a terrifying time and I will never forget those early days of his diagnosis.
Andrew takes medication daily for his epilepsy, and we are fortune that he hasn't had a seizure for a number of months, however I know that this might not always be the case, and that many families deal frequently with seizures despite medication.
By running the Great Scottish Run 10K on 2nd October ,2022 , I hope to raise money for Epilepsy Research UK to contribute to this life saving research, to help children like my son and families who live with this condition on a daily basis.
Thank you for your donation.
