Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We will be taking a Big Stroll of 14.4 miles as part of the Kiltwalk on the 30th April. We have been training hard since January and are looking forward to the day.We begin in Clydebank and finish in Balloch. Sabrina and Suzanne are both members of the community singing group SING aLOUD. We really appreciate any donations to KINDNESS.
Every two years, SING aLOUD members champion and vote for a charity to support, for which we fundraise and enhance awareness. Since launching in 2016, SING aLOUD members have raised over £45,000 for charity and our current chosen charity is Kindness Homeless Street Team Glasgow
Kindness Homeless Street Team Glasgow SCIO is a voluntary charity dedicated to supporting and lifting people in Glasgow and surrounding areas. The charity started as a community group in December 2019 and when they started, they were predominately a soup kitchen offering a daily service throughout the pandemic but since then they have grown into much more.
Alongside their extended soup kitchen in George Square 3 evenings per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7pm), they also provide support to encourage people into their own accommodation.. They provide recycled furniture, soft furnishings, electrical appliances and assist in turning their empty flats into homes. They also have a donation centre which is opened 6 days per week at 417-419 London Road G40 1AG (opened 6 days 11am – 2pm closed Thursdays).
