We raise money to support Noah's Ark Children's Hospital

Story

This year the Noah's Ark Charity is 21 years old. The patients and their families, helped by the hospital and the charity, often face really tough personal journeys and so this is for them.  It's well out of my comfort zone, it means a huge amount of training and an expectation that it's going to be a super hard, physical challenge on the day.

I only started running about four years ago with the couch to 5k. Half marathon is my longest race, a marathon is scary for me to say the least.

So, this is it.  I have now confessed that I've signed up to face the hills and lanes of Yorkshire and now I have to do it.  To help me get over that finish line, I'll need the motivation of your support. I hope that you can sponsor me. Please know the money is helping a truly amazing charity and more importantly the many thousands of patients who need specialist medical care every year. I've set the target lower than I hope to achieve - the strange figure of £262 is taken from the physical target 26.2 miles.

Here's more about the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity. you can also go to www.noahsarkcharity.org and find out how they  support the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales and over 73,000 children treated every year.

Thank you x
