In memory of Ted Elvidge

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving Page in memory of Ted Elvidge. In his last few months and years, dad developed dementia, which was heartbreaking to watch. I also have friends whose parents are living with different forms of dementia.

I am going to swim a mile (81 lengths of Bakewell pool) in segments over September and October to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, to help to fund research, and support people with the disease and their families.
