As many of you know, my nephew Mikey was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia in March 2017 aged 13.

Over the past 18 months Mikey has had continuous chemotherapy and has another 18 months to go.... but he has shown how brave, courageous and damn right AMAZING he is and continues to be.

CLIC Sargent have managed to bring a bit of light into the bleak situation of Mikey and his family and for that I'll be forever thankful - So thankful that I have been misled into believing that I can complete 13.1 miles in 1 day and survive, lol.

Running is not something which comes naturally to me but I am willing to put myself through this hell for my nephew ..........so I'm doing this for Mikey. #teammikey

My aim is to raise £350 - this is enough to enable a family to stay in CLIC Sargent Home from Home accommodation for up to 10days whilst their loved one is in hospital. We forget some family's have to travel miles to be treated at a specialist children's hospital like the RVI in Newcastle.
