I am taking part in my first half marathon on Sunday 6th March 2011 at Silverstone.

I am running to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and will be running with my good friends Rachael and Ben Stafford. They are both experienced runners and have been extremely supportive to me during my training.

I have no set goal for the run, other than to finish it!! I don't expect to see much of Rachael and Ben other than at the starting and finishing lines!! It will just be such a personal achievement for me to complete the run.

I have not set a fundraising target - I appreciate any donation.
