Story

Hello everyone.

As many people may or may not know, my family's journey with Huntington's Disease is far from over.
Our Papa passed away in February there after 11 years of being symptomatic with HD.

Huntington's Disease is a rare, inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain.
Long story short, its a condition that stops parts of the brain working over a period of time. And is passed on from a persons parents.

Now my Sister and I haven't taken part in any fundraising in many years for many reasons, (our Mum has). And we want to give back to the organisation that has been a HUGE part of our lives for the best part of 17 years!!! And will continue to be a part of, along with the many people that worked withing the HDA and families involved.

So when I seen they were doing this event I just fell in LOVE and it gave me such a buzz to want to get involved and the rush to want to give back.

So myself, Kerri, our Mum Marianne, Andy, Annabella, our Auntie - Linda, Kerri's best friend Tasha and her wee one Olivia will join people from all over Scotland in this event to take part in the 100 song challenge.

I have also attached the link for you to see and find out more about it all.

I mean, who doesn't want to dance non stop for 5/6 hours!
I absolutely cannot wait for this.

Its for a great cause and is something that means so much to my Sister and I.
And it just looks like a fantastic thing to do in order to raise money.

Stay tuned for updates and pictures etc.

Thanks all. 💜💜🌸
