Story
As many of you will know I have worked as a Specialist Nurse in end of life/palliative care for over 20 years - in South Wales, Newcastle upon Tyne and at St John's Hospice in Lancaster for the last 9 years.
You may have seen me cycling to work - a round trip of 7 miles. Navigating the notorious one way system in Lancaster!
Cycling from London to Paris will push me totally out of my comfort zone, but I'm taking on this challenge to support the fantastic work of the hospice.
My family have recently benefitted from the tremendous care provided by the Hospice at Home team. I am hoping with support and extra funding we can keep on providing and expanding this service .
With your support I'm hoping to reach my target of £2000 - and I'm very grateful for anything you can donate
