I am excited to again participate in this amazing fundraising event for our local Child Advocacy Center of Carroll County.  Beards (or Blue) for Bucks is a fun and exciting fundraiser where law enforcement officers are allowed to grow facial hair (or color their hair blue) for the month of October to support their local CAC. The generosity of our friends, family and community members was unbelievable last year and is again proving to be outstanding this year. Helping child victims of physical and sexual abuse and their families requires an approach that addresses the physical, emotional and legal dimensions of abuse. And it requires a coordinated victim centered response from expert professionals to reduce stress throughout the investigation and intervention process. Child Advocacy Centers work in partnership with all the necessary agencies and specialists to coordinate a plan of action to provide high-quality, specialized services for abused children and their families to heal, survive and thrive.  Here in Carroll County, we are fortunate to work with the best staff at our CAC.  Join me in helping to thank them for keeping our children safe by donating if you can or sharing this page!
