DON'T WAIT TO START RECRUITING STEP1: Think of your natural contacts - friends, family, co-workers, etc. STEP2: Check-in to see if someone else is contacting this person/group to avoid duplicative asks. STEP3: Give a call, drop off a brochure, send an email...then follow up to see if there is interest; keep in touch with your contacts. * Use the Steppin' Up brochure to generate interest or for those who have not committed to host a team. * The Power of 10 Team Challenge! Form a team with at least 10 people. Ask team members to ask 10 people to sponsor them for $10. You will have reached $1,000! * Teams can be made up of walkers, runners, or virtual participants. It is a downtown 3.1 mile route with a 1-mile route alternative. Virtual participants can chose another day/time/location but still fundraise for their team. * There is no registration fee, people can sponsor themselves at any level or ask a few friends and family members to make a pledge and sponsor them.
