Story
Our Maidstone & Dover Teams will be taking on 2 ultimate challenges!
Richard, Chloe & Amanda will be joined by Matt (our Finance Director) in completing a Skydive! Whilst Sharon will be shaving her head!
Amanda said '5 years ago my mother Kate was diagnosed with Bowel cancer, it was a very scary time for the whole family but after having two tumours removed and chemotherapy mum came through the other side. Macmillian and my mum's Macmillian nurse Fiona were fantastic.
They provided emotional support and also practical items that my mum needed to aid her recovery and get her back on her feet.
When my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer last year Macmillian again was on hand to provide help and advice and support.
This week my mum gets the 5-year sign-off from her bowel cancer and has been all clear of breast cancer and is as fabulous as she ever was.
Macmillian does such great work and their support and help are vital to those who are facing such a scary time.'
Sharon, who will be shaving her head added 'My mum died of breast cancer 20 years ago this year (July) after a long battle with cancer lasting 8 years. Macmillian was fantastic, offering guidance and support to not only her but our entire family. I'll be doing my shave on what would have been her 63rd birthday!'
