Our names are Rannoch and Struan and we are trying to raise money for our two friends, Ben and Finlay. Like us, they are twins, but have recently been diagnosed with autism. Their family and friends have been tirelessly raising money to fund a specialist tutoring programme, which focusses on maximising their learning and development potential.(http://benandfinlay.blogspot.com)
As Ben and Finlay are such special friends of ours, we have been thinking of ways in which we can raise money to support the fund raising efforts. We want to do something that will be a real challenge and encourage people to sponsor us as much as possible for this worthwhile cause. Therefore, we have volunteered our Mummy to swim in 'The Monster Swim' in Loch Ness, which involves her swimming 1/2 a mile in this legendary loch. Now, this might not seem that much of a challenge, but our Mummy is not one to exercise and certainly doesnt normally indulge in open water swimming. When our Mummy does the event, she will be faced with extemely challenging conditions in the water, a loch that is 280 metres deep and need we tell you about the big scary monster...
So, please, please, please would you be kind enough to sponsor our Mummy in this challenge, as it would be very much appreciated. We are trying to raise as much as possible, so all donations welcome no matter how big or small.
Kindred have very kindly let us use them as a charity to set up a just giving account. Some of the money we raise will also go to them too.
Thank you very much
